Accessability
Steps from carpark to the front door of all cottages. Internal stairs in Braefoot, Smithy, Royd, Blare and Duror. Raised patio area for Braefoot. Steps to access patio for Duror Cottage. Access to the grounds, lakes and play area from carpark is via steps and initially the grass area is sloped. Patio areas, steps, wooden decking, wooden bridges and wooden jetties may be slippery so extra caution is required.

Q: Changeover day
At Lower Aylescott, our usual changeover day is a Friday, however, we can normally be flexible, so please do not hesitate to ask and we will see what we can do to assist you.
Q: Arrival times and Departure
We ask that guests arrive after 5pm on their day of arrival and depart by 9am on the day of departure.
Q: Do you allow short breaks?
Short breaks are available year round!
Q: What do I need to pay to secure a booking?
To secure a booking at one of the cottages, we require a 30% deposit with the outstanding balance due eight weeks prior to your arrival. Please read our terms and conditions before making a booking.
Q: Does this property accept pets?
Unfortunately, due to the position of the cottages we are unable to accept pets in any of the cottages. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Q: Family friendly
In each of the cottages you will find a travel cot and a high chair, which are available at no additional cost. There is also an onsite children’s play area.
Please note although the onsite fishing lakes are fenced off, we do ask that children are supervised when playing outside.
Q: Is fishing allowed at Lower Aylescott?
There are two fenced off lakes at Lower Aylescott, which are stocked with carp, rudd and tench. Guests are more than welcome to fish at the lakes, A rod licence is needed, and we ask that you bring your own rods etc. Please note nets are not allowed in the lakes. learn more here
