This bright and light cottage, with splashes of purple as a feature wall and furnishings has been elegantly decorated to provide a great home-from-home for friends and families looking to get away from it all in a quiet and tranquil countryside location.
On the ground floor, a spacious open plan living space features quirky exposed stone work around the dainty windows, and a lovely wood-burning stove, which is perfect for those cooler evenings.
The lounge area also has two comfy sofas, along with a flat screen TV, a DVD player and bright purple feature wall that provides a lovely spot to relax and enjoy time together after enjoyable days exploring the local area. A large country pine table comfortably seats 6, and is the ideal place to gather everyone for breakfast or supper. The kitchen area is well-equipped and has been fitted to a good standard. It includes a fridge, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, microwave and an electric oven with hob.
Upstairs are three good sized bedrooms, including two double bedrooms both with a king-sized bed and a twin room with two full size single beds. The final room on the first floor is the newly refurbished bathroom, which has a bath with shower overhead, a WC and a wash-basin.
Outside, Duror has its own private terrace area with table seating up to six. The terrace has wonderful views of the countryside and fishing lakes.
